ViedGrab is designed to need as little of your data as possible. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- TikTok links you submit. When you paste a video link, our server requests that video's data from TikTok in order to generate your download. Links are cached briefly (a few hours) for performance and then expire.
- Basic server logs. Like virtually every website, our hosting records standard technical data (IP address, browser type, requested pages) for security and debugging. Logs are rotated and not used for profiling.
- What we don't collect: no accounts, no names, no emails (unless you contact us), no TikTok logins, we never ask for them and couldn't use them if you offered.
Cookies
We don't set tracking or advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated first.
Third parties
Video and audio files download directly from TikTok's servers to your device, we don't proxy file contents through our infrastructure. When your browser fetches those files, TikTok's own privacy policy applies to that connection. We use a third-party resolution service to look up video data; only the pasted link is sent, never personal information.
Your rights
Because we hold no accounts or profiles, there's little to delete, but if you believe we hold data about you (for example, from a contact email), write to us and we'll remove it.
Children
ViedGrab is a general-utility site not directed at children under 13, and we knowingly collect nothing from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
